A floor is only as good as its prep and its edges. We install luxury vinyl plank and hardwood over a flat, sound subfloor, rack the planks so the pattern looks right, and hold the layout so it runs square to the room. Then we finish it the way finish carpenters do: clean transitions, tight thresholds, quarter-round or shoe scribed to the wall, and the base tied back in. The result lies flat, feels solid and looks finished at every edge.
